went to lu'vaze today. well, it's supposedly the top hair salon in the entire of jakarta. *wows* but well, ALL the hairdressers i've been to previously always cut the same hairstyle for me, no matter how many times i've told them i want a DIFFERENT hairdo. so i decided to make myself clear this time. how did i do it? i ranted on and on about how i want a different hairstyle but it always look the same. so my stylist's supposedly one of the best there too... and his name's fendi (HIGH class brand.. lols.) and he also looks like a top stylist... from the newspaper boy hat to his outfit to his hair... yeah. and i thought, great! finally i got a real cool stylist. all excited! so we discussed on how the "new" hair should look like... and we decided to curl the ends of my hair. so he cut my hair first. he was damn professional, within 15 mins he finished trimming my hair. and yeah it looks great! so after that the perming began. i hate the i-don't-know-what-it-is liquid they put on my hair, but i suppose it was used for perming. so fine... anyways it's my 1st time curling, and i was like, woohoo! while waiting for the perming lotion to work, my stylist appeared with a huge bag. then he was like, ''i gotta catch a plane to palembang! ciao!" and then he ran off. and i thought it was fine... since the only thing left to do is wait for the curls to set in and just wash it and dry it. and when it was all done... looked into the mirror and i was happy with the look. it definitely looks very nice from the front view... and from the rear mirror, it looks fabulous! i was overjoyed with my new hair until... i stepped into the toilet. and i saw it from the side view!! EEKS!! it looks WEIRD. and only then it struck me that i've never seen any soul out there with a hairstyle like mine. so much for wanting a NEW hairstyle... > <" worse still, i've to pay (equivalent) S$80++ for it... and the stylist is not there to comment whether it was how it's supposed to look like! so much for lu'vaze... so much for aarg, new hairdo... damn. i just hope i'll grow to like it... who knows, it may be the next new trend. maybe next month? next year? i wish. i REALLY wish.
i checked the weather forecast for seattle this morning. and great. it's still like, 6deg. C? or 0 at times... wonderful. i'll be enjoying winter. yea. i wish it wasn't THAT cold... i thought that if spring is to kick in anytime soon the temperature'd be much better... so it isn't. o wells.
today's not much. other than the hair-y experience... so i'm looking forward for tomorrow! yea. i'll be goin ice-skating with my cousins. definitely look forward to meeting them. hope something crazy happens tomorrow. heheh.
btw, happy b'day to shijing and sam.ryo k!!! a year older = more white hair. yayy. (=
