so many random, kinda insignificant things've happened this week. and i think it's rather pointless to list them all out.
but anyway, let me share some. i've just visited my dermatologist cos i'm getting some breakouts again. 've also booked an appointment for my hair salon nelxt week. hopefully i can get a decent haircut. come to think of it, next week should be more interesting. i'll be going to court! no, i'm not sued by anybody. i'm just going to settle my parking tickets which are given to me unfairly. maybe the cops hate BMWs. i don't know. sheesh. next week (if time allows) i'll also be fixing the scratch on my car. yeah, that huge scratch on the side of my car. and meanwhile life goes on just like that... my blog is getting so boring isn't it? > <
well, putting all that aside, i thought i'd touch on some topics that've been on my mind lately. one of them is the issue of... global warming. it's pretty weird, but i'm sure we all've experienced global warming's effects. we've seen many storms, tsunamis etc. but even the slightest things like climate change makes a big impact on me. well, i'll take it from a personal experience. last year when i came here, at around exactly the same date as today, the weather's already warm. i was wearing skirts and a light jacket. but this year's different. everyone's still geared up in their winter coats, and it's almost may soon! even though it's not as cold as winter was, it's still pretty cold for spring. funny thing is, weather forecasters've predicted that this summer would be a record high for seattle. kinda drastic, i'd say. and that's why many of us think the world's coming to an end. but how many of us are actually doing something about it? honestly, i haven't got into a "reduce, reuse, recycle" mode, neither have it made any efforts to only buy goods that are environmentally friendly. sometimes i choose to take hot baths instead of quick showers (hot baths consume a lot of electricity AND water, right?). and while we keep on reading about the many different ways we can do to save our planet, how many of us actually take it seriously? i mean, for most of us, it's not that we don't know how to, it's more of "we're lazy to", or we simply brush it off. and when things get worse and worse, we simply claim that it's because God's coming back. i mean, even if He is, we should still try our best to save our planet, right?
