despite all the emotional blows that i'm pretty much going through right now, i did take some time out for a concert (with angie, of course) yesterday. it was the projekt revolution, which is headlined by linkin park, and besides them, several other big names like my chemical romance, placebo and him played at the concert too. there're also other rock bands like saosin, madina lake, taking back sunday, mindless self indulgence, julien k, styles of beyond and the bled. we had to drive all the way to white river ampitheatre in auburn, and boy it sure was a long drive. not to mention angie's car's oil life was only 10%... God bless us the car made it all the way there and back! we didn't attend all the bands' performances though, because we came pretty late. when we arrived, placebo was already playing halfway, and after them taking back sunday went on stage, followed by my chemical romance and lastly, linkin park themselves. linkin park, they put up the best rock concert performance i've ever been to. well, how many times have you been to a concert where almost, literally all the people stood up (even those far back at the lawn), where everyone was so psyched and responded to all the cues given by the band? (i can't even describe it, well pardon my english. i haven't taken any english writing course for a year hehs. and not to mention, i don't read novels and the like, so...) basically, their show was absolutely phenomenal. you know, my chemical romance and the others didn't even come close, even though some of them have better stage effects and all. and best of all, angie & i got to watch linkin park's performance next to saosin's very own cove! he was so friendly, and we had a pretty good chat there.
