and it's only the beginning?.

it's almost close to the last day of my second week of classes, and i'm already so exhausted. *sighs* i'm only taking 3 classes, see. finance, marketing and linguistics. and they're all freakin' hard. i guess people're right. things're different in the uni. like, back in shoreline, the teachers'd TEACH the courses. they'll tell you what's on the textbook, what you need to know, and all you have to do is listen to them and that's it. down here, things are a little different. you're more expected to know what the book's talking about before coming to class, then all the teacher does is explain the concepts. and that means plenty of reading for my poor little brain T-T aarg..!! UW sucks. oh, and everyone was so happy that the business school finally got a name. Michael G. Foster's School of Business. i don't find it exciting at all. sheesh. did i even mention about this singaporean instructor in my finance class? he can compare bonds (like, stock market bonds... kind of bonds) to marriage, present and future values to skydiving..?! drives all of us nuts cos he just has to explain simple concepts in really long-winded ways. *double sighs* give me a break. can it snow now?
