35°F outside, and here i am in my room, with the curtain blinds closed. i've been looking through job postings again, feeling both the anxiety and anticipation of submitting another application. if it'll go through, if i'll get a call back, or if it's gonna be another futile effort... God knows. of all the applications i've ever submitted, i've only received a callback once, and it was back in june when aiyun was around. i rejected the offer after learning that the office location is further than the seatac airport. which means, i'd have to drive more than 60 miles everyday just to get back and forth. and no compensation for the then-expensive gas. *sighs* now all the jobs out there that are available for us F-1 students are those that are not compensated at all. when will i ever get a job?
also, i'm looking at the possibility that i will not go anywhere this winter break. not only do i have my dog to take care of, i have dina's dog *again*, and apparently she's took off without passing me his health records and stuff. so i can't put him up at any pet hotels and stuff. and there's no way i'm bringing this dog around to wherever i go, considering that he still doesn't know when and where to pee and do his business. which really gets on my nerves cos i had to clean up his mess 10times yesterday. no wonder dina gave me 2 huge bottles of pet stain & odor remover. i might just finish them up.
actually, i really wanna go down to san francisco to meet up with my cousins. but with don, i don't think i'll be able to. cos i promised to spend the holidays with him, and he doesn't want to go to san francisco; he wants to go to las vegas. and if we go to las vegas, what'll i do with these dogs? i don't think my brother wants to take care all of them. and most las vegas hotels don't allow dogs anyway. sneaking cherie in will not be a good idea if we're caught. *sighs* i really think i'll end up staying at home this x'mas.
