christmas

it's christmas again! and what makes x'mas extra special here is the weather, cos unlike back home, it's cold here, and it did snow yesterday. so christmas really feels like christmas =p and... what makes it more special this year is, for once in a long long time i had a christmas dinner. no, make that two (24th and 25th). two christmas dinners with don's sister's in-laws. although it felt a little awkward initially cos i'm definitely not part of their family, they did make me feel at home. and it felt good. for once in a long long time, you feel that family warmth in the midst of the cold outside. it meant a lot for me, especially me being here and away from my own family...... who're currently happily spending their vacation in shanghai without ME! but, of all things that has to happen after x'mas... i had to fall sick again. urrghh.... sore throat again. and i sure hope it goes away soon cos i have a new year's dinner this weekend! and YES i want to look my best! i have the dress ready and all... the last thing i'd want is to look ugly. no, no, no, no in a million years!!!! T-T God, please let me heal soon!!!
